Seasonal Specials range –
This page is to advise you of what is in season, available and at its best. We’ve also created some value pack ideas for customers who want to stock the freezer and list a range of frozen shellfish lines we have available to order back at HQ Fleetwood.
In the months of March and April, –
- Our prime Cod and Haddock are superb right now, although Plaice is in the spawning season and will need a month or so till at the best, but we have available some really good Icelandic variety. High in protein, low in fat and calories, good iodine source.
- Right now we’re coming across some fantastic Silver hake, available as steaks, shoulders, whole tails and fillets.
- Our Shetland Salmon is particularly good now, sourced from pure waters from the top of Scotland, these are the purest farmed salmon you can get.
- All our white fish – Cod, Haddock, Hake, Halibut and Snapper is in great condition and good for a variety of dishes.
- Mediterranean Sea Bass is around now, a fantastically tasty fish along with quality mackerel and Herrings sourced from Scotland.
- More exotic for the spring we have Yellow Fin Tuna (South China Sea) Swordfish Steaks (Indian Ocean) and Nile Perch (North Africa)
- Don’t forget our freshly delivered scallops are always good.
- Our specially farmed Rainbow Trout (from Cloch, Ballymena) are available whole or as fillets.
